Episode Summary[]

The Major invites the Buckets for a golfing weekend at a luxury hotel, Chesford Grange (apparently in Kenilworth, UK). All is well until Hyacinth discovers a couple has rented a room on her floor, whom is audibly in love with each other, and their actions clearly heard from the hallway. Hyacinth later finds this couple to include Rose, much to Hyacinth's dismay. To make things worse, Onslow and Daisy turn up unexpectedly to collect Rose after she has spent a raunchy weekend away with a Mr Smith. Inevitably, when Hyacinth realises her family are there, she fears for her social standing.

Hyacinth frequently runs into an older couple, who quickly grow a dislike for Hyacinth, beginning to avoid her as many people do. Adding to her dilemma is the amorous intentions of Major Wilton-Smythe. The Major and Hyacinth drive off to a private location nearby, and The Major makes advances towards Hyacinth. Finally Hyacinth returns to the hotel after fleeing on foot, dirtied from the long walk. She and Richard soon go home.
